Session Brief:

Enabling the Fourth Industrial Revolution The ever-wider availability of technologies such as mobile, artificial intelligence, cloud service, analytics and platforms is dramatically altering the way of living, working and interacting – in what has been termed the Fourth Industrial Revolution. The telecommunications industry is performing a critical role in enabling this digital revolution unfolding around.

Autonomous (zero-touch) Networks and other future networking systems usage for redefining customer engagement and bridging the gap on innovation. Major telecom operators are also migrating their products and services to cloud, and in particular are adopting software as a service (SaaS), infrastructure as a service (IaaS), and security as a service (SECaaS) services. Cloud-native software may become an RFP requirement in the coming future. As far as the enterprise segment is concerned, growth is likely to come from newer services such as software-defined wide-area network (SD-WAN), sophisticated collaboration tools, and more-advanced cyber security solutions rather than established services such as high bandwidth connectivity or unified communications.

Expected Outcome:

This session is primarily to sensitize the audience, regulator and the concerned departments about the large opportunity that currently exists in this space of outsourcing and help create an ecosystem that provides the support system for the growth of this sector helping Bangladesh excel in both domestic and international markets in telecom outsourcing.
