With a view to promote BPO Summit Bangladesh 2015 among the uprising latent talents in Bangladesh, Bangladesh Association of Call Center Organization (BACCO) is organizing student activation programs in different Universities around the country. Currently a total of 16 universities are enlisted for the activation program. Enrolled universities are The World University of Bangladesh, Dhaka Polytechnic Institute, Stamford University, Eastern University, North South University, University of Asia Pacific, University of Liberal Arts, Port City International University (PCIU), Southern University Bangladesh, Metropolitan University, Shahjalal University of Science and Technology, American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB), East West University, BRAC University, Eden Mohila College, Dhaka University. BACCOSecretariat Committee is coordinating the seminars along with their partners: BASIS, Bikroy.Com, Aamra Technologies. The key objective of these seminars are to promote the BPO SUMMIT 2015 among the students who can play a vital role in these sectors. Through the seminar, the committee members tried to project a clear concept on BPO and its activities, the role and prospect of BPO in overseas as well as in local markets, BPO involvement in Bangladesh, how the students can contribute to this sector and the need of fresh resources for the sector. Through BPO Summit, a total of 200 employees will be recruited in different roles on the BPO sectors. There was a presentation on the necessity of online jo searching portal from where students will be able to get the job trends in recent market. The seminar focused on engaging students regarding the circulations and application process for the recruitment and also the involvement in BPO Summit Bangladesh 2015. Sessions will cover the need of education, expertise and exposure of students in BPO sectors. Presentation session and Panel discussion sessions were conducted for students during the sessions.
At the end of the program there were some quiz and student engagement programs on which gift hampers were provided for Bikroy.Com for all the participants and Smartphone & Selfie Sticks were awarded as gifts for competition among students. So far it’s been some very good energetic session already on some universities hopefully through BPO Summit Bangladesh 2015 we will be able to engage and empower the students of our country to involve more on this sector to achieve our goals as well as contribute to the GDP of Bangladesh through BPO as an emerging sector.
