Seminar Brief

Globally shared services outsourcing has grown rapidly since the 1990s. Nowadays, all large and mid-sized MNCs have several shared service centers with one or more completely outsourced. However in Bangladesh, most business organizations are yet to establish any shared service centers with outsourcing starting very recently with the Telco industry leading the pack. In order to access the best technology platforms and business processes, it is imperative that Bangladeshi large conglomerates, financial institutions, textile/garments manufacturers etc. start outsourcing their processes and thus become more competitive. This session will encourage large business houses in Bangladesh to build shared service centers and also to invest in Bangladeshi BPOs in order to enable the sector to grow.
